Limited and Special Editions

AT&SF 2900-Class 4-8-4, #2926, Engineer Special Edition

From time to time, River Point Station will issue Special Editions, as well as Limited

Editions of selected products. Special Editions will be based on our Engineer

Series locomotives, and will be issued for special occasions and purposes.

Limited Editions will primarily pertain to our vehicles and rolling stock models.

First

Special Edition

Our first Special Edition will be a run of the AT&SF #2926, based on our HO-S

ale

model of the 2900-class. The prototype locomotive is currently being restored by the

New Mexico Steam Locomotive & Railroad Historical Society, at Albuquerque.

Members of the Society have been very helpful in providing

River Point Station with

photographs of the

locomotive and tender, especially details not often captured in

published

documentation.

So, a

portion of the sales from these models will be

donated

to the Society, to help with their restoration efforts.

Soon, we will publish information concerning reserving one of these models for

your collection. By buying one of these fine models, you will be assisting in the

restoration of an exquisite piece of machinery and history. The road number, 2926,

will not be available in our open stock series of products. Purchase will only be

available

through our Website or through the Society. Depending on interest,

multiple runs

may be made, with

era-

prototypical variations from one run to the next.
