The Imperial Series

    Imperial Series Locomotives are exceptionally detailed, museum-quality
    masterpieces, which will accurately replicate the features and details of selected
    locomotives during a specific era of operation.

    Suitable for both display and operation, these exceptional models will be made
    using the same castings as our Engineer Series, but will be blueprinted and fully
    detailed using lost wax castings. They will only be available directly from RPS, and
    by advance reservation; each model will be serial numbered. These models will be
    limited in quantity, with each road number  made only once. Each locomotive class
    will be issued with only a very few road numbers, in some cases, just one.
    Additionally, road numbers will not be duplicated in multiple eras, i. e., each road
    number will be available for only one specific era, then retired.

    These exceptional models will also include a custom made display case, with finely
    finished wooden base. An optional case, in lieu of the standard version, featuring an
    integral power supply and sound system will also be available for each model. This
    optional cases also  includes built-in rollers under the drivers, so that they can
    rotate freely for display.
