    Emergency and First Response Models
Many of you have asked "The Boss" to hold off on a final decision regarding the emergency
vehicles, specifically the Expedition EL SSP. Some of you have even asked very nicely, and a
few have made some suggestions to improve exposure. Well, The Boss listened, and we have
revised the pages relative to emergency vehicles. We will also extend the deadline on the SSP
models until sometime in the 3rd quarter to give the revisions a chance to have an impact.
Here's a link to the new section: Emergency. As always, feel free to give us some feedback!

    NEWS: February 2, 2010

On the Upside: Super Duty Truck Models
More Super Duty trucks are coming! With a new supply chain in place, the next run of extended
cab pickup trucks has been scheduled. The current run of Super Duty trucks have been sold
out for a while, so, this is certainly welcome news. And, while most of the previous colors have
been retired, a few favorites will be back along with the previously announced new colors. The
new colors, as well as the decorated models should be available during the third quarter.

We have an ambitious program for the second half of this year, and we will have more
    announcements soon.

    On the Downside: Barracuda Models
As many of you are aware, the CUDA models are not our own product. However, because we
had collaborated with their manufacturer, we were given the opportunity to distribute these fine
models in the Americas. However, as the result of unforeseen licensing complications, these
long-awaited Barracuda models will not be available through RPS, after all. Nevertheless, the
models should be available in the near future through other third party channels. Watch for
    announcements, elsewhere.

In Case You Have Not Heard:

    Toyota Models
We regret to advise that we have decided to cancel the Toyota model program. Interest in the
models never seemed to gain traction, so they will not be produced. Only the RX400h will be
available sometime next year. The Toyota page has been removed.

First Response Expedition Models and E-Series Models
The next lot of Expeditions have been delayed; more news later. The cargo van tooling is not yet
completed, so test shots won't be available until early 2010.

    Tooling for the Diecast Locomotives
We are still negotiating with suppliers, who will consider using the existing tooling to make
    these long awaited models. The situation in China is improving, but it is still tenuous;
    continued patience is requested.

    Expedition Models
We'd like to clarify the term LIMITED with regard to item number 536-7609.21; this is not a
limited production model; the name LIMITED refers to Ford Motor Company's designation for
    the trim package, just like XLT. All of our Expedition models will be made only once per color;
colors will be retired as each item is sold out.

Limited-Production models are special runs which will be clearly indicated, and generally
made in quantities of only 250 to 500 pieces as shown.
